「Very difficult to find. Unattended and very confusing process. Completely unmarked property. Very nice mother and daughter team managing the property! I heard that a Norwegian man owns the place. If so, he’s in the wrong business 」

「Two blocks from the beach where in summer you can have dinner on the beach. Priscilla was very helpful with our uncertain arrival. Breakfast is OK buffet. Amenities are basic. Pro Tip: the licensed cabs do not go to Fumicino. You are at the mercy of the local taxis that have a separate staging area. If at all possible arrange a shuttle ride through the hotel if you are arriving or departing via the airport.」

「My first time to Italy, arrived from cruise port. I have no idea about geographic location of either the port, the hotel or even Rome. Turn out it is about 20 min from the port and 45 min from Rome. Hotel staffs are friendly and arranged taxi transportation from the port to the hotel. Hotel is next to the beach with private deck for Sun bathing. We spent a few afternoon at the bar enjoying my drink and ocean breeze. A perfect place for relaxation. 」

「We were very disappointed in the amenities. Frankly, they were nonexistent. There was a pool but if you wanted a towel for the pool you had to pay 3euros. Shocking! Also, no washcloths in the bathrooms and very limited towels in the bathrooms. Our air conditioning barely worked. The cheese on the breakfast buffet was spoiled and had to be removed. The Horta Restaurant was very nice and good food. This was the only positive at Villa Tirreno. I would not recommend.」

「Hotel Isola was a perfect start to our honeymoon. We had the sea front view which was exactly what was promised. Opening the window in the morning to hear the waves hitting the shore was fantastic. A few minutes walk from the beach and the piazza outside had many great cafes and restaurants. The concierge was helpful in telling us how to get to Santa Severa by public transit and also made nice espresso on the morning too. Would recommend this place!」
