「My first time to Italy, arrived from cruise port. I have no idea about geographic location of either the port, the hotel or even Rome. Turn out it is about 20 min from the port and 45 min from Rome. Hotel staffs are friendly and arranged taxi transportation from the port to the hotel. Hotel is next to the beach with private deck for Sun bathing. We spent a few afternoon at the bar enjoying my drink and ocean breeze. A perfect place for relaxation. 」

「Hotel Isola was a perfect start to our honeymoon. We had the sea front view which was exactly what was promised. Opening the window in the morning to hear the waves hitting the shore was fantastic. A few minutes walk from the beach and the piazza outside had many great cafes and restaurants. The concierge was helpful in telling us how to get to Santa Severa by public transit and also made nice espresso on the morning too. Would recommend this place!」

「We were very disappointed in the amenities. Frankly, they were nonexistent. There was a pool but if you wanted a towel for the pool you had to pay 3euros. Shocking! Also, no washcloths in the bathrooms and very limited towels in the bathrooms. Our air conditioning barely worked. The cheese on the breakfast buffet was spoiled and had to be removed. The Horta Restaurant was very nice and good food. This was the only positive at Villa Tirreno. I would not recommend.」

「Don't do it. The beds are awful (like sleeping on giant toothpics) that was the top of the mattress. The pillows are flat and you get one each. There is nothing on site or within walking distance. AND if you book through a third party like expedia dont plan on getting the room you paid for or have it come close to what it looks like on pictures. The property is dated and needs much tlc.」

「This property was perfect for our one night stay before our cruise. It is very close to the cruise port and the owner will arrange for a van to get you to the port for 10 euros pp. You could walk but it would be along a twisty road with no sidewalk and stairs at times. The guest house is located inside a building with other businesses and residents. It is on the 3rd floor even though it is listed as the second floor as the bottom floor is considering 0.
