When we arrived the staff was friendly and helped me navigate the self-check in machine. But when we got to the room, it smelled really strong musty, wet smell. Like if the room had water damage or mold. The room was so extremely small that it didn't matter that the bathroom door was closed. As soon as I entered the room, I got on my phone to book another hotel. It took a while to find but after 3 hours I booked another hotel and left this hotel. There were many people in the hotel when I checked in and from the website it said no more rooms available so I didn't bother asking for another room. I had to go elsewhere and pay again which was very frustrating. This hotel was my 5th hotel in my travels in Japan and it was very disappointing.

It’s right next to Ueno Station making it perfect for travel. Very clean and while the rooms may be small for Western Travelers, it has everything you need while visiting Tokyo.

The hotel is located just a few minutes away from Ueno station which makes it easy to commute anywhere. Lots of shopping and dining opportunities. The room is small but functional. The staff is helpful.

Great place and I will stay there again. Close to the Ueno train station where you can get so much shopping and food. Having luggages was easy for me to travel by train going to Narita. There is an elevator going to subway or simply walk and ctoss about 7-10 mins. going to Keisei or Skyliner train. Staff is great, English speaking and very helpful. Free bottled water and sake during my stay. You can have late check out for 1000 yen per hour up to 2pm.
