「The view was wonderful, and the staff was very helpful. There was a smoky odor in the room, either from the fireplaces in the other units or from the firepit outside. The floor plan of the bathroom in the third-floor room was odd. The open door blocked the sink. We had a little trouble figuring out the A/C controls, so the room was a little too warm. We greatly appreciated the free EV charging stations. They were never ICEd while we were there. We underestimated how tiring the 32 stair steps...

「Excellent stay in a cozy, but well appointed ground floor room which overlooked the lake. Clean bathroom & comfortable bed. As others have said every footstep can be heard from the above rooms, but this did not spoil our stay. View to the lake in the lower rooms is obscured by trees.」

「It’s mostly just an older hotel and maintained. Looks like they update it as they need to, so some rooms have newer flooring where others have ancient flooring. Our AC unit didn’t work but there was a box fan. Our friends heat didn’t work so they had a space heater. We were really only there to sleep, so it worked for what it was meant to. No pool and the hot tub is closed forever, that needs to be updated on the website.」
