"At first I was disappointed because I thought I’d booked the Aspen Lodge (which is at the other end of town) and the exterior of the Aspen Inn could use some attention. But the desk clerk was pleasant and the room was spacious and comfortable. The many amenities and breakfast options were appreciated. I’d stay there again"

"Stayed with friends the night before going into the boundary waters. We had stayed here a couple years ago and they have done a lot of remodeling. Room was nice, coffee and popcorn available, staff was great."

"Easy check in. Nice view of Lake Superior. Very nice restaurant on the property.Access to Cascade State Park Super staff! Room was a little too warm for the night . Highway 61 can be busy .We would recommend this hotel and property."

"Our room was very nice and appeared to be recently updated. This is a “self service” kind of place so there is no maid service during your stay. There is a number you can call if you need anything. It is a great location right across from the harbor so you can walk to everything in downtown Grand Marias. I would request a second floor room next time for better views of the harbor."
