"The hotel is old and run down. Our door had many screws holding the doorknob and lock in place. The lamp shade was torn. The bathroom door has a hole in it. The windows were recently replaced but not finished so the rough wood was there instead of a painted finish. The pool room is under construction but anyone can walk into the room and look at it. The room was clean and spacious. For the price it was a good deal, especially for Mammoth where hotel rooms can go for hundreds of dollars a night. I probably would stay there again for a quick weekend since all I need is a place to sleep and shower in a hotel room. "

"Clean and modern room. Stayed at the Sunstone on the 2nd floor facing North. Would’ve liked more air flow, only 1 window can be cracked open in the living room of the 1 bedroom apartment. The couch cushion was ripped from the bottom. Overall nice place. Would choose a different room location next time. "

"The location was prime! Lots of restaurants, bars and breweries within walking distance and a short drive to the mountain. We enjoyed our updated room at the Sierra House. It seems some things are still under construction as the building was very new but that didn't bother us a bit. The steam and sauna are slightly outdated but again that doesn't matter to us. We really enjoyed our stay!"
