Clean room, friendly staff, warm and cozy lodge, excellent dinner at the restaurant, generous continental breakfast, convenient and easy access for cross country skiing, snow shoeing and hiking
Very nice resort. Very nice lodge. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful views. Great access to the slopes and to cross-country skiing. My only complaint was the very thin walls in the lodge.
The staff at this place are amazing. Very kind and helpful. The location is great beautiful area with beautiful surrounding the cabin was very nice and comfortable. I wish it was a little bit more up-to-date. It needs a little bit work, but I still like it and I will go back.
Wonderful staff and lovely cozy place to stay with family. Clean room, full equipment kitchen. Will come back for sure. The manager Byran is very nice.
We came to Mammoth to ski and had a great time staying here!!! The studio we were in was super cozy and lovely. Our studio had pretty much everything for simple cooking. The kitchen was missing some knives but once we call the front desk, they brought us a nice knives set. Amenities in bathroom was good. Everyone at the resort is really kind and welcoming. We’ll definitely come back next year.
Tamarack Lodge was the perfect place for ourselves and our longtime friends to be together, enjoy great conversation, rest in a cozy setting, and take wonderful hikes. The cabin was furnished very well and fit our needs perfectly. Excellent staff! Thank you!
The Tamarack is a historic inn in a gorgeous setting. A lovely place to spend time. The historic rooms are small by today's standards but clean and comfortable and add to the historic experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is continental but good.
Tamarack Lodge was a delightful, cozy and welcoming place. The lodge dates back to 1924 and has that old lodge vibe. Its located on Tamarack Lake with great views. Room was small, but the lobby areas was cozy with tables and chairs and a couch in front of the huge fireplace. Staff was so friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable of the surrounding area with great suggestions on places to visit to view the changing colors of the Aspens.
Really loved the cozy vibe. The room has many amenities such as 2 heaters, a fan and many blankets. Great customer service and loved the complimentary breakfast.
Tamarack is a historic lodge that maintains much of its quaintness in a lovely setting. The bed is comfortable. The breakfast quite decent. The staff is pleasant. The restaurant has a pricey, rather limited menu. Expensive drinks and live music in front of the cozy lodge fireplace take advantage of the historic ambiance. It's a great place to stay.
Lovely place, beautiful surroundings. No fridge or microwave etc in the hotel rooms at least. Breakfast is an optional extra. Very fancy looking restaurant onsite, pretty expensive.
Last minute pit stop on a road trip. So lucky to have snagged a historic cabin. Bruce was a fantastic host and we will definitely be back for a longer stay to explore the area and Yosemite! Cabins are dog friendly too! Such a beautiful location!
