"Loved this hotel! Such an iconic place to stay in New Orleans especially with all the history it has. Room service was impeccable and they replaced the toiletries and cleaned the carpet every day. Staff was also incredibly kind and the location is unbeatable. The only reason I am not giving it a 5 star rating is because the hotel room was outdated but I supposed someone else could see it as charming!"

"Paid extra for corner king river view. Got to check in and was told our room tv was not working. They said they could transfer us to new room in morning. We went from 14th floor river view to 9th floor alley view because it was the only room. Not sure why they couldn't replace or repair the original tv. I was told I would get a $50 credit for the first night and at checkout they waived one night resort fee. Still waiting on $50 credit but one night resort fee was waived. We enjoyed the hotel, and it is nice. I am disappointed in the fact that I paid extra for the view and was stuck for 2 nights with views of the alley. However, I would stay here again and give them another chance. Property was very clean and maintained and staff was friendly. Only staff issue was upon check in. We used valet and a bell hop was supposed to take our cart to our room. I turned around and the cart was sitting there and he wasn't to be found. I have no issue with taking my own luggage up as I prefer it. But, I was told guests cannot take the carts up that it must be a bell hop. For me, it was no issue. I took the cart to the room and unloaded at my pace and brought it back down. He lost the tip, not me. But overall for our first time at this hotel, it was a decent experience. As I said, I would give them another chance for sure."
