An absolutely gorgeous sight! A frozen in time water cascade on the trail at Old Man's Cave. This multi-tiered natural masterpiece had to be 25ft tall and stretch over 100ft wide. The lowest tier is tall enough that you can walk behind it.
The lower falls at Old Man's Cave. If you want to see the falls at their peak, head there in late winter/early spring just as the snow melts and preferably after a heavy rain fall. Also if your schedule permits, head there on a weekday morning and you just might have the place to yourself for a bit. Old Man's Cave derives its name from the hermit Richard Rowe who lived in the large recess cave of the gorge. Rowe lived out his life in the area and is buried beneath the ledge of the main recess cave.
#hiking.. i love hiking being out doors following a trail or just making my own fresh air and the out doors is amazing. i hike every chance i can close to home or travel to find new locations, I'm from akron Ohio but i love to travel this photo was from...Hocking Hills Ohio a great state park with a lot of trails and view points and caves zip lining and kayaking .. i did a few hikes and claimed some cliffs to get some great shots

Hocking Hills is more than hiking, waterfalls and caves, there's this... The Paul A. Johnson Pencil Sharpener Museum's collection boasts more than 3,400 pencil sharpeners. The Paul A. Johnson Pencil Sharpener Museum is FREE and open to the public Mondays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The museum is located next to the Hocking Hills Regional Welcome Center.

洛根

The Old City Fountain was obtained through the J.W. Fiske Company, New York City. The zinc structure cost $3,215, raised by a local women’s group. The fountain was dedicated on July 17, 1890 and has been in continuous operation since. It is one of two replicas that legend says once stood in Etain, France. The second copy is in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Conkles Hollow is a state nature preserve within the Hocking Hills region. Its sheer cliffs of Black Hand sandstone rise nearly 200 feet above the valley floor. The deep, cool gorge, which is only 100 feet wide in places and is considered to be the deepest in Ohio, has numerous waterfalls cascading over its sandstone cliffs. The lower trail through the gorge is about 1 mile and is accessible for the most casual of hikers. The rim trail is a couple miles long and is a bit more strenuous.
