Motel 6 The Dominion hotels

"The room smelled old. There were roaches. The shower head was caked with calcium. The tub was badly stained and worn. The mattresses were old and needed replacing. There was a sink hole in the middle of the mattress. We had to sleep on the floor. The bowed shower curtain rod was drooping in a weird way that made the curtain want to bunch up in the middle. In the middle of the night some kids banged on our door and ran away. Where was security?"

"Great pet friendly patio at the steak restaurant. Food was very good as expected at a Kimpton. Short walk to the Riverwalk. Safe, fun neighborhood. Will repeat. "

"Wonderful, classic and comfortable hotel right on the Riverwalk. The Spa (at the sister hotel across the riverwalk) is AMAZING."

"The room was clean, but the sink didn't look clean. The staff was very friendly and nice. The coffe shop and bar/restaurant was ok for the convenience they offer. Hotel is in a good safe area since its next to the court house. Over all would stay there again. "

"The staff were very friendly and greeted all who walked in. Check in was quick and simple. I didn’t know about the additional fee for parking, but it wasn’t a big issue to me. I did appreciate that there was security on staff towards the evening ensuring that the parking passes were valid. The room was very clean & breakfast in the morning was very good. This was our second experience staying here, so we will definitely be back to stay again."

"The Perfect spot downtown I believe. Beautiful hotel, rooms are a little dated but that’s what makes the experience very cool. Since it is one of the oldest hotels in Texas. Our kids loved the pool as well. The bar was awesome. No ghost sightings but we will be back! Lol"

"The hotel is in walking distance to the Alamo and, Alamo plaza, and nearby shopping, and riverwalk. This was our second time staying at this location for an annual event nearby. The hotel works for our growing family and offered reasonably priced upgrades (upon availability of course). While some of the things that occurred were out of our control and the hotels (mostly outside noises), we enjoyed our stay and will most likely stay again in the future. "
