「Everyone was Great! Loc」

「This was our second year at the British Colonial and we will return again next year. Wonderfully remodeled a few years ago and impeccably maintained. The pool and beach area are superb. Many lounge chairs and patio umbrellas dot the pool and beach areas. The hotel rooms have all the modern conveniences and a feeling of old world charm and style. All the staff are friendly, helpful and seem to truly enjoy their jobs. There are a couple staff members that I would like to point out. Charles...

「Courtyard by Marriott Nassau Downtown/Junkanoo Beach is an excellent place to stay if you are looking to be right in the middle of the action. Everything is in walking distance: shops, restaurants, popular beach and a taste of the island from local vendors. Watch the cruise ships come in and leave from the nearby cruise port. The city is transformed by tourists during the day bringing a vibrant energy to the area. A quiet, mellow, calming pace replaces the energy of the day as the cruise ships...

「You get what you pay. While certainly not the most expensive 5 star facility, it was still well appointed with a high level of service. The included private car transport from and to the airport was a nice touch.」

「Place was in a building under construction in which the apartment is very hidden and the instructions to find it were not clear. The place was really dark at night and made everything more difficult to find. Someone saw us struggling at night trying to find the place and guided us to the apartment. The host was not very accommodating regarding our request to ck out at 12 rather we than 11 am so that we could finish an activity that ran late. 」

「We enjoyed the location which was away from the large, commercial, stereotype complexes that try to keep you in their “hotel bubble.” This is a small and quiet place that offers tranquility. It has a charming beach front with trees. You are away from the congested traffic, 11 minutes south from the airport and close to other beaches in the area.
