「Side door was locked when we tried to use our pass. It was late, we had a lot to carry & had to walk over the rocks.」

「The outside of the building is well maintained but the inside looks nothing like the pictures, smoking rooms have rusted appliances and the regular rooms are okay. The worst part of the stay was the linen. The bedding and pillows had a bad odor.」

「I had a great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Harlingen Convention Center. It rained the entire time, so I didn’t get to use the pool, but everything else about the hotel was excellent. The property is clean, comfortable, and well‑kept. I want to give special recognition to Sebastian at the front desk. I had just purchased new rocking chairs and was worried about leaving them in my truck during a major thunderstorm. Sebastian immediately offered to store them safely in the conference room...

「Cleanest hotel I have been to in Harlingen. The staff definitely made you feel like family. They have an enclosed court yard with fenced in pool, they kept clean and grass was immaculate compared to the area. Room was clean, carpets looked great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone if travels put them in this area.」

「It was the filthiest hotel I had ever stayed in. Roaches and ants. One square inch of soap. Shower caddy was removed from shower wall. No housekeeping. Took our dirty linen and the staff gave us filthy dirty linen rolled in a ball. The pool was green and could not go in it. Had to buy our ant traps, shampoo, soap, conditioner, paper towels, Lysol wipes, trash bags. We had to take out our own trash twice a day with our own trash bags because there was no housekeeping.」
