「Really nice b&b in an historic and interesting house. Host was really friendly and breakfasts were really good. Large bedroom, plenty of space for clothes. Right opposite the Abbey and near local amenities. Would certainly return.」

「Work trip and excellent location. Morrisons on route for supplies and some lovely evening walks. Although some of the footpaths need the nettles trimmed 😉 Struct lucky with the street parking all but one night but the car park behind is very close. Only heard those above very occasionally and I slept very well. Will definitely look to book again. Thank you」

「Stayed in the 'Dunlin room' Very poor lighting in the corridor. Wallpaper patched up poorly in the corridor by the bedrooms. Noisy extractor fan in our bathroom. Breakfast a little underwhelming, (overdone bacon and chewy sausage. Staff very attentive and polite. No signal on the tv celestial channels on two days. Limited bathroom amenities. Cobwebs on the windows in the breakfast area. 」

「A phenomenal hotel, run by a fabulous team, and the young serving staff were incredible. This hotel truly is a gem, with a fabulous restaurant, and beautiful grounds to hang out, chat and have a drink. Blissfully quiet at night」

「Booked 2 rooms and 1 apartment; was expecting they all are close from each other. but end up the apartment is about 10-15mins walking distance away that i will have to separate from my other family members. However, the staff was very helpful when needed them」

「Not recommended, honestly we almost slept in the car. The main issues started on attempting to check in. We arrived late (around 1am) but there was no-one at the hotel that we could see. We then called the 24/7 line around 10 times, most of these times we were hung up on/disconnected prior to getting information. When the night porter did arrive back (after around 1 hour of waiting) check in was relatively quick and then we walked over to the house (note check in is not necessarily at the place...

「The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was small but functional. There is no parking at the hotel or near area which is very problematic. The breakfast was extra but a reasonable cost at £25 for two people. The egg was over cooked and the bacon was unusual.」

「Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too.」
