"Had high expectations after reading the other reviews and spending almost $1K for two nights here but was disappointed overall. The beach access was nice and the highlight of our stay. "The property is located in a well kept garden next to a small but beautiful beach. Rooms are well kept and relaxing. The staff are fantastic and always willing to accommodate requests. Food was excellent, particularly the Sri Lankan breakfast. The menu has increased and has a great selection of Western and Asian dishes but is quite expensive."

"The breakfast menu al la carte was amazing!!! Great coffee , excellent service and facilities. Great location within the fort. No tv in room but isn't needed. Rooms are large with a desk and sitting area. Bathroom beautiful with claw foot bath, spacious shower area. Pool area is lovely for a quick dip. Staff go above and beyond. Top pick for accomadation."
