「At the end of our Sri Lanka holiday we decided to spend a bit more on our Unawatuna hotel & were not disappointed. We had large rooms with loads of space, kitchen, really comfy beds, excellent views from our balconies. The staff were helpful & the pool lovely. We did book nicer rooms that some there & didn't eat so can't comment on the food. It's a bit of a walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride to the main tourist area or a beach but that also means it's quiet there.」

「We stayed for 2 nights, and we both thought that the food and the public areas were amazing. We also booked the yoga classes which were great. The bungalows are very cool, they are open, so you get a pretty unique experience. The beds are a bit on the hard side, this should be improved.」

「We were really looking forward to staying at Green Villa but upon arrival they said there was a problem with the room and they were completely booked so had to book us in a hotel next door. The place next door was dirty and only half as nice. I went back when I saw they had availability the next 3 nights and they were able to put us in a ground floor room (I paid for a balcony) but it was still nice. The property itself is beautiful - a colonial style villa set in lush tropical gardens, with a pool that wraps around the building, but it’s the people who work there that made it one of the most memorable stays ever. 「Wat een heerlijke plek om onze reis door Sri Lanka af te sluiten! De kamers zijn prachtig, het ontbijt is lekker en het heerlijke zwembad maakt het helemaal af! We hebben bij het hotel een massage geboekt op onze laatste dag, dit was goed stevig maar ook lekker. Het hotel zit op ongv. 15 minuten met de tuktuk van de strandjes/restaurants, maar dat wisten we van te voren en vonden wij met het heerlijke zwembad helemaal niet erg. 」
