「Nice facility, our room was fairly unique with some fake rock. Our daughter's room had a cool outdoor bathtub. You get great use of two other Thambapanni resorts in the area. Rooms are large and interesting. Very musty. The air conditioner needed to be maintained to keep mildew out. Clothes drying rack, nice bathroom and good breakfast. Super accommodating staff. Unawatuna is a bit of a Russian tourist trap. Aggressive tuktuk drivers and merchants. Jungle Beach nice but crowded. The Sea Waves...

「The service is good with hotel staffs able to speak fluent English. Only flaw is the room is a bit small and there are quite some mosquitoes inside the room.」

「We arrived later than planned and the staff was more than accommodating - he waited for us till shortly before 10pm and checked us in promptly. The breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka! They also stored our luggage for us when we went out to explore town. The hotel is a heritage Dutch colonial house, and we appreciated the rich history this place preserves.」
