Talcott Mountain State Park Tours

This place is fine, as long as you know what you are getting. What you are getting is an OLD building at a great location as long as you don't mind a lot of noise. For me, this was fine. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the location was perfect for a theater weekend. It was inexpensive by NYC standards. It's just one of those places that you don't come for the hotel. There's not much there. The room was fine. It had a bed. It had a clean bathroom. That was about it, nothing fancy. It lacks amenities, and my AC did not work very well, but it also was not super hot when I visited so I didn't complain. There are no modern outlets or USB ports, and I would bring an extension with extra outlets because I found all of one outlet to plug a charger into. The bed wasn't too comfortable. Honestly, it was fine for me - I live in a city and am used to noise, but even I needed some earplugs. I didn't spend a lot of time in the room. I'm not one to fuss. It was in my price range, and it allowed me to go to three Broadway shows over a 2-night stay, all within just a few blocks from the hotel. I'd recommend it for the right person, looking for a particular kind of stay. I have no regrets.

The staff were very attentive to us during our stay. The room was very clean and the balcony was beautiful. 10/10
