Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The room rate was great value, beds were comfortable enough and the room itself was clean and spacious. Conveniently located a short walk to Granville train station. The bar was very quiet and staff were friendly and helpful.
Hand soap in the shared bathrooms would have been great.
Cigarette smoke was wafting into our room through the small gap under the door throughout the night.
Staff were ok, bed was clean, facilities old, and the sports bar didn’t have anything to drink non alcoholic other then water, the toilet (shared) had cigarette butts in it in the morning , slept in better for less and no near by food, but was convienent closeness to where I needed to go though

Comfortable room. There was a lot of traffic noise and noise from people walking on the wooden corridor and stairs all night. Only had 1 of 2 showers working. The accommodation was cheap.
Arrived at 5pm & room hadn’t been cleaned from previous visitors, the manager was lovely about it and explained that it was simply an oversight. We get things happen, didn’t ruin anything for us, so, we just dumped our stuff in the room and left for our concert at Olympic Stadium.
Everything was clean and tidy when we came back.
The shared bathroom and toilets are a bit shabby, but they’re clean and all we needed was a place to sleep, pee, and shower.
This one-night stay suited us well as a budget option. If you don’t mind a (clean) shared bathroom and traffic noise, dulled by double glazing, and a basic room with comfortable bed with air con, TV, and not much else for a good price, it is right on Parramatta Road, with parking but without an on-site restaurant. We took bowls, spoons and cereal and used the free milk and tea/ coffee for breakfast. We were welcomed on arrival by an attentive, efficient and hospitable manager. I live on a budget and appreciate properties like this, but some travellers might not be satisfied with the 1950’s tiles or the dripping shower. I appreciated the good welcome, easy parking, comfortable bed and air conditioning, so no complaints here.
I do not recommend staying here stay at own cost staff are rude when I first arrived the add said it had parking and you didn’t have to reserve a car space parking is limited first in best dressed specially when a concert is on room was dirty the air con was dirty and made us feel sick tv remote didn’t work I had advised staff for them to be in the room with me questioning me how did I turn the tv on for over a hour the backing of the tv remote and ac remote was missing they provided no hand wash after you used the shared bathroom on the upper floor for guests when I questioned this I told told it was down stairs in the pub area with customers I ended up leaving 2hrs after arriving the pub it was not welcoming at at they refused to refund so I recommended do not pay at property highly disappointed pay the little bit extra stay somewhere nice
It was mostly good for the cheap price. Though the room I booked was advertised as a single room with a twin bed and I actually got a very small single bed. I was in too much of a hurry to argue about it with the young guy who checked me in as he served behind the bar so I let it slide, seeing as I had actually looked for the cheapest room I could find I guess I get what I paid for.
