Great stay for a pub room. Very comfy and clean. Considering the price and the fact that it’s above a pub it was great and I got a good nights rest there. Also pub food was excellent.

The room smelled really smokey - like the olden days! One bed was fine, the other one was SO soft. There was only one regular tea bag too. Water in the fridge was appreciated and staff at check in very friendly. VERY easy walk to the Olympic park.

Staff were really friendly. Food was great and it sold Guinness on tap. A local told me landlord is an ex butcher - hence great steak I had. Parking not brilliant, and a bit dependent on day and time. Walking distance too stadiums for concerts - 1/2 hour easy to find. Also next to train station. Rooms clean and quiet but two toilets broken but still sufficient as not too busy. Will definitely use again.

Excellent service

Whilst the Hotel Concorde is by no means a 5 star resort, the rooms are fine and great for a last minute stay if you need somewhere on the cheaper side abd you don't mind a shared bathroom. Huge shoutout to Kelly, who dealt with a couple of not so good issues we had in our room, she was great and gave us a very generous compensation, which was very much appreciated.

The property is conveniently located, the staff are friendly, and the rooms are clean. The only negative, which is a big one, I did not leave the hotel clean because there is no water pressure or hot water in the shared bathrooms. The shared bathrooms where not included in the advertisement and for the price point ($290 per night) I would expect each room has its own bathroom. I would expect at the very least that they would sort out their plumbing issues and have continuous gas hot water for guests.

A little more honesty needed

The rooms were very clean, although the beds were not so comfy, mattress was incredibly hard. Out bigger problem was that there is not a single mention in the property information that the bathrooms are shared, and when we looked again, there is not even a picture of them. Just be upfront in the information that they are shared so informed decisions can be made

I'm annoyed at the booking I had..It wasn't actually the hotels fault it was Expedia booking site that needs to get their definitions of accommodation correct!!! Because when you go through select a room for this accommodation all of them say 3 bathrooms so you know it's a shared bathroom then there is the 2 singles, I booked.. you click on that and it says nothing about 3 bathrooms and you go to room amenities and it says bathroom/shower but it wasn't it was a 3 bathroom share room so I wouldn't have actually accepted or booked it!!! if I had a realised that it was a share bathroom room!! Other than that, it's was very comfortable accommodation, I would recommend it!!

Overall my stay was ok. The room was clean and I felt safe. But the room was supposed to have a refrigerator. There was no refrigerator. I asked about it. One of the staff seemed to think they could get one & agreed it was supposed to have one. And he Said he could make a call. But the other staff said no and no call would be made. I'd just have to deal with it. I was initially told i could get cold bottles of water, soda and Red Bull from the bar for free for the inconvenience . But the same staff were never there again the rest of my stay, and there was no notices left for new staff, to give me drinks for the inconvenience, Since i couldn't keep any in my room cold. That was very frustrating. I booked the room to have a refrigerator. Also there was no air conditioning. There was a ceiling fan. But no actual air conditioning, and it was incredibly warm in the room the entire stay. This was not stated there was no air in the rooms. It was also shared toilets/bath. Which also isn't stated. Not a deal breaker, but it should be very clear.

Clean rooms and bathrooms were clean, water and milk in fridge when we arrived. It is a hotel located next to Concord West train station so noisy (especially on a Friday night) Great if you want a cheap place to stay close to the city or Qudos Arena.

I have a medical condition that makes it hard to carry thongs so the gentleman who checked me in carried my two large bags and a heavy esky up the two flights of stairs to my room for me, which ws5 very /much appreciated.
