"Hotel is conveniently located near the highway exit/entrance. Staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel surroundings and rooms are well maintained."

"The hotel was nice, it has a small casino that closes at 12 midnight and a billiard area. McDonald’s is a 3 min drive from the hotel (which helps when you have kids along). Since it was Saturday the hotel had live music and the musicians played very well! The hotel had 2 pools and the one with the slide (for kids) kept the children entertained. There was also a pool side bar which is great for people/couples without children. Rooms were clean and quiet and staff were friendly and helpful. The on site restaurant is only good if you are buying breakfast which I recommended you do. We had dinner there and it was not good. The beans were rancid and the red snapper was not fresh. I originally thought their complimentary breakfast might be good but it was awful consisting of powdered eggs and the pancakes that come frozen and you place in a toaster. The pancake was rubbery and I couldn’t eat it either. Two good breakfast items which were complimentary were their sausage links (but that’s not filling) and their coffee. So long as you do not book this hotel for reasons of a free breakfast, then it’s a good hotel with lots of options including a gym that closes at 10 pm."

"Staff was wonderful although one did recommend Casa del Chef as a good place to go for great food but it seems their waitstaff pick and choose who they treat well… If you do decide to go anyway DO NOT order their Chicharron de Pollo… it’s disgusting, they claim it’s white meat only which is a lie. Nothing but tendons and maybe some dark meat which is gummy, chewy, and tasteless. Anyway, back to the actual hotel… Rooms are cleaned daily, parking is plentiful, food is very good. We ate there twice but preferred to eat at the local restaurants to help small businesses and give them a chance to shine… Just NOT Casa del Chef!!!! Lots of stuff to do on site plus the beach is a short walk away. My husband and I were very happy with our stay there."
