"Check-in was a breeze. Front desk staff were cheerful. Upon entering my room, I found mold in the shower—not hidden; very visible. The toothbrush of a previous guest was on the floor, and the entire box of Kleenex was sopping wet. There were no washcloths or hand towels, and no bedside clock. I found the cleaning staff manager and got the washcloths and towels replaced. I called the front desk to request a clock (they have REALLY nice clocks with Qi charging and sleep sounds) and was told by the lady at the front desk that she’d have one sent right up. 30 minutes later, I still hadn’t received it so I went down and she was leaning against the wall, looking at her phone. I told her I was there for the clock and she sprung into action and within 15 seconds she handed me said clock… I have stayed at this hotel once before and have left a review of that stay so I won’t rehash that. I will say that the longer I stay here, the more I see how shoddily the construction was when it was built about a year and a half ago. It clearly was thrown up quickly as there are gaps, paint splatters, wall cracks, and street noise/conversations can be heard through the air conditioner. Also a warning: I had an ocean view room on the third floor my first night. All I heard was Fin’s Bar’s DJ and their patrons partying into the night on their rooftop dance floor (after flying 12 hours from the West Coast. So I had that going for me. Which was nice."

"We had to come back down to get keys that worked to our room after we checked in just inconvenient. Front desk was not apologetic are very, very helpful just re-keyed them. Refrigerator didn’t work and had to have it replaced. Overall was a good experience, but sometimes the little things just irritate you"

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The entire property was very clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. Both the check-in and check-out processes were quick and smooth, making our stay stress-free. The pool was clean and well-maintained, and the complimentary breakfast had a good variety and was a great way to start the day. One feature I especially appreciated was the hotel’s security. You needed your room key not only to access the guest room floors but also to enter the hotel after hours, which made us feel safe during our stay. The location is just a few minutes from downtown St. Augustine. While it’s on the outskirts rather than in the heart of downtown, I actually preferred that because it was quieter while still being close to all the attractions. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!"

"We are so glad we chose this hotel for our getaway. The location is perfect and the area felt safe. The staff was friendly and helpful and keep the hotel and surroundings clean. The room was spacious, clean and updated. The price was surprisingly affordable for such a great place. I prefer this to many of the hotel chains we’ve stayed in. The salt water pool was a great way to end the day. I love that they had coffee available all day/night. There were extras we didn’t need but were there (laundry room and rec room). The location was perfect. Far enough from the business of the historic area but only 5 minutes to get there. We look forward to staying there again when we take a quick trip down from Georgia."

"Stayed in a 3 bedroom in the south tower. The room was gorgeous and clean. Staff was amazing all around. There were enough lounge chairs for all of us. Food was good, Gelato amazing. Prices are what you would expect to pay at a resort. Pools were very clean, plenty of towels. Would definitely come again!"
