「What we absolutely loved about our stay, and what made the experience uniquely special, was the exceptional treatment that Joshua showered us with—from the time he greeted us at our vehicle upon check-in—to the time he walked us to our vehicle at checkout. The room and common areas were flawlessly kept, the property was peaceful, and the other guests were just as pleased as we were to share such a wonderful space. The added bonus is that Joshua makes a superb quiche!」

「The ,toilet didn't work properly. There was hair on the shower walls from the last guest that I had to rinse away. The HVAC unit was abundantly noisy. Bed was comfortable but I got a terrible nights sleep. Soap bar was the size of a half dollar. You couldn't get any lather on my wash cloth. All in all, not what I expected.」

「When we went to properthy, AC was not working ...the manager she was really good and staff tried to help us but there was no other room available and they were not able to fix issue. we were so tired and we need to change the hotel. I was not expecting this from Holiday Inn.」

「Personally, I feel the Shelby Inn is a bait and switch. The pictures and write up of the "historic inn" make one think they are staying in some cool historic building, while the room I got was in a motel immediately behind the inn itself... The room was clean, and the location was very convenient, but I was shocked pulling up to my room and realizing I spent $152 for a night in a room in a motel in Shelbyville, Illinois...」

「We found a can of soda in the fridge when we first came in the room, which really shocked us. Due to the fully booked hotel, the service they gave were limited as well. But overall this was a pleasant stay.」
