"Very nice and clean hotel. The staff were very helpful and attentive. It's a good place to stay when visiting Iceland, just be aware that it's about a 20 min drive to Reykjavik. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming and there wasn't a fridge in the room, but other than that, we had a great stay!"

"This hotel included breakfast which was a mix of hot choices and fruit, cereal and etc. Our room was spacious and clean with a fridge. There is a small sauna and a hot tub. We enjoyed a short soak in the hot tub which was quite nice . We also ate at the restaurant which was delicious but a bit pricey."

"This is a beautiful location and we very much enjoyed being able to look out over the coastline. Most of the rooms looked very comfortable, unfortunately the rooms that our family had seem to be a small converted office space. They were functional, though not much sound insulation from the surrounding rooms. The water does smell and taste like sulfur, but again is functional and did not seem to be a problem. Property could use a little bit of maintenance, but nothing that would deter me from staying there again. no on site support that we could tell, no food or other similar amenities.Overall, the natural beauty of the location far outweigh any inconveniences, and we had a lovely stay."

"I booked this apartment a year in advanced for the total solar eclipse. The price was insanely high but not surprising since the apartment’s location is inside the path of totality. What I liked about the apartment after staying there: 1. Convenience with a grocery store, coffee shop, and gas station just across the road, a very good Indian restaurant, a Subway sandwich shop, an ATM, and convenient store in the same parking lot. The bus station is just a couple of blocks away. 2. Excellent water pressure and hot water. 3. Secure building since you cannot get in without an access code. Check-in and check-out process is non-contact. You get the access information via e-mail and checkout via text. What I didn’t like: 1. The kitchen is small but you’ll get used to it. First, it felt like you are washing dishes in a camper van. But, you’ll develop a system that you’ll get used to it. The freezer has so much frost that you could not close the inner door. 2. The security key pad to enter the building was glitchy. First night the system died and we had a hard time getting in. 3. The morning of our checkout, the fire alarm went off. Icelandic fire alarm system is very sensitive, so be very careful not to set it off when cooking anything."

"The room was cleaned. Housekeeping only on request. Room was very basic, nothing like the 4 stars in other countries. Staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very basic. We had dinner in the restaurant on the day we arrived. It was 9pm, kitchen was about to close and they still served us. We enjoyed the meal."
