The place overall was nice and had good communication, it was a bit small and it at times was quite noisy, there was also a massive party outside in the early hours of the morning and the staff will not take any part in calling police or putting a stop to it for their guests. A local resident instead had contact the police to stop it. The problem is that most people staying there have no cellphone and contact the police in those types of events, so the staff should really help and assist at all times.

Chambre impeccable. Très pratique lit très confortable et service parfait. Possibilité de laver son linge au 2ème étage et de la sécher. Cuisine très bien équipée avec goût et en plus équipée d’un lave vaisselle. Emplacement très bien juste à côté d’un supermarché. Si j’avais juste un conseil. Prévoir deux oreillers par personnes ou des oreillers plus épais. Mais cela est très personnel.

War eine sehr gute Unterkunft. Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten. Es war sehr sauber und ruhig. Die Einrichtung super zweckmäßig und komfortabel. Sehr praktisch mit der Spülmaschine, Kaffee, Tee sowie Salz und Pfeffer. Wir fühlten uns richtig wohl!

Really want to post an accurate and fair review. If you are on a very tight budget and being able to cook is the most important thing for you then these rooms would work well. Also if youre only there for a day or two so not much stuff with you. Good points : kitchenette is very well equipt, great mini dishwasher, coffee machine Shower is large and great pressure. Comfy bed and blackout curtains. Bad points: 100% the smallest room i have ever stayed in. You cant even walk down the side of the bed without turning sideways. To fit in the kitchenette, they got rid of any clothes storage. Theres no wardrobe or drawers, just some hooks on the wall - 5 hooks but only 3 hangers?? Change over of towels wasnt provided, i had to get them myself. Room was situated right above the front door so the room basically shook every time someone came and left. The windows only opened an inch and there was no temperature control in the room. If you really want self catering and you dont mind the 30 min walk to Harpa, this is a great budget option. I personally wouldnt stay there again. I think calling them "apartments" is quite misleading. Its a studio room.

Clean and newly remodeled facility. Only suitable for travelers with very light luggage, hardly have any storage. 24/7 online chat is just a joke, no response even though the system said someone with reach out shortly!

We were locked in the elevator had to call 911. Then the front door broke and no guests could get in or out. Then the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. When I called customer service to seek some compensation they attempted to tell me that it wasn’t their responsibility that the elevator in the hotel broke and the emergency call button wasn’t working.

The apartment is clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The parking instruction was a bit confusing, but we managed to find spot for two nights. The free parking around the premise is not guaranteed, unless you arrive earlier.

The perfect spot!

This apartment was absolutely perfect for my solo trip to Iceland. The location was nice because it was easy to walk everywhere, but it was a few blocks away from the busier area so it was super quiet at night. I had an economy studio, and it was the perfect size for me. The little kitchen had everything I needed. The shower was amazing. The bed was super comfortable. The apartment was spotless when I arrived. I highly recommend Frost Apartments!

Close to perfect, according to me

Overall a wonderful stay for 6 nights at Frost Apartments, and would highly recommend it. Easy to access, buses close by. A grocery store just across the street. No need for keycard, just remember your pin and you’re good to go. Well equipped kitchen, with Nespresso coffee maker, kettle, toaster, 2 skillets, one pan, one colander. Microwave and oven in one, induction hob. Big bed, but it’s a very hard bed. Some like it, some not. But the duvet and the pillows were fluffy and just perfect. Big tv on the wall, easily casting to it with your chosen device. Nice and clean toilet and shower. I personally didn’t hear a lot of my neighbours, but sadly it was one hotel guest dragging my experience down. It’s a nonsmoking facility, and it was not respected the 2 last days of my stay there. I smelled cigarette smoke from the ventilation. But that’s not the hotels fault! Overall, close to perfect, and I would love to stay there at Frost Apartments again. So if you want to cut down on food costs, this is the way to go. It’s easy to cook a meal or three, which enables you to spend your money elsewhere compared to restaurant food (:

Very pleasent stay

Very pleasent stay at this place. The whole apartment bulding, including the room was very clean and nice. Good location, short to Reykjavik center, busses and nearby grocery store and restaurants. The room had everything needed and superb beds. Recommended

Perfect self contained apartment with all facilities needed for a wonderful stay in Reykjavik. Bed was comfortable and shower was amazing. Close enough to the city without being in the thick of it. Would 100% highly recommend.

Cozy stay

The room fit our needs. It was quite small but everything was compact and had what we needed. The laundry room was great and equipped with detergent. The bathroom was a bit tight In the sink area, but the shower was nice and roomy. The grocery store was just down the street within a walking distance. Parking wasn’t bad, most times we could park in front of the building. If you’re booking group tours, bus stop #12 is about an 8min walk. Everything else is farther away and will take longer if you’re not driving- overall a comfortable and quiet stay.

It’s not very close to the downtown area and the room is smaller compare how it look at the pictures. I asked for early check-in (even it was expensive) a couple of times days before I arrived and I never got an answer. Then, I call costumer service and they apologized giving me a complimentary early check-in.

Great place. Close to everything with a cafe on the corner. Bus stop is close by. You're close enough to walk everywhere but still in a quiet neighborhood. Nice little kitchen and well stocked room. Highly recommend!
