「The hotel is a bit dated in the rooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was always good and plentiful. Cleaning was poor, never vacuumed in five days, tables were left dirty, sheets never changed. Also there was mold on the window sills and my allergies acted up. A bit pricey for this level of room.」

「The Bell is a beautiful old building and our room was very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The view from the room was amazing. Access was through a separate door to the pub, so we didn't have to be back before the pub closed and could access the room any time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakasts were delicious and lots of choice on the menu. Lovely pub dog too! We would definitely stay here again.」

「We booked The Star for a midway stop between travelling home and found the owner to be really friendly and anything we needed he was happy to oblige! Great view from the beer garden and the food we had in the evening was amazing, highly recommend for couples or even a family stay 😊」

「The location is great. We loved having the Old Fleece pub next door. The amenities are nice. The biggest issue with this accommodation is the lack of air flow. It can get warm and stuffy in warmer weather. There are no windows, and keeping the door open at night was not an option for us.」
