「We booked The Star for a midway stop between travelling home and found the owner to be really friendly and anything we needed he was happy to oblige! Great view from the beer garden and the food we had in the evening was amazing, highly recommend for couples or even a family stay 😊」

「The location is great. We loved having the Old Fleece pub next door. The amenities are nice. The biggest issue with this accommodation is the lack of air flow. It can get warm and stuffy in warmer weather. There are no windows, and keeping the door open at night was not an option for us.」

Got a couple of free drinks at the bar instead of having room service. Spacious and very appealing grounds leading to the canal path with a very pleasant walk. Would gladly stay again.」

「Stunning historic building with a beautiful garden for relaxing, enjoying an afternoon beverage or eating a meal. Probably the best level of customer service I’ve ever experienced, and the food was exceptional. This was the perfect place to stay for exploring the Cotswolds and I will absolutely go back.」

「Apartment was very spacious with everything we needed. A continental breakfast was provided which was appreciated. We had dinner at the pub one night and it was delicious. Staff were very friendly. Plenty of parking available. There is no lift and entry/exit is via external fire exit stairs at the rear of the building.」
