「Stunning place , soaked in history was just perfect for what we needed , lovely restaurant and brassiere fully deserves the four Stars they have , the grounds are beautifully manicured just a great place to go and relax. We tried out the Spa not too busy but had everything you needed. There are only a few little niggles if you had to pick something the carpet in our room looked tired but that’s it really. 「Arrived at 2 pm, front desk asked us to come back at 3, eventually checked-in at 3 ish, front desk informed that the Spa closes at 4:30. Rushed to the Spa straight after check-in, and the woman at Spa told us the Spa closes at 3:45 instead because they need time to "clean-up". So we ended up spending 15 mins at the Spa.. 「Beautiful accomodation and accessibility. I really could not, or want to, be critical of anything with our stay. The air conditioning was a massive bonus on one of the hottest day of the year and with us bringing our dog, our room had its own patio and direct access onto the gardens , which was perfect. All the staff were very friendly and professional with a superb breakfast. I Would definitely recommend for a special occasion stay.」
