"Robert greeted us at the door and was friendly. The room we were shown to was perfect, bed was comfortable and amenities clean and tidy. The location of Kirkgate House was great, in the middle of the town with bars and restaurants within a couple minutes walk. Would recommend and if we visit Knaresborough again, definitely would stay."

"Our room was beautifully decorated and very clean. Bed was really comfortable tho pillows were a bit soft for me, but that's a personal preference and I didn't ask for a change. "For the price and location, highly recommended. A bit dated, but it’s a traditional, old building. What makes this hotel, is the warm, friendly staff.
Only criticism, maybe clean up the side of the hotel, leading to the rear car park a bit. It’s a bit dingy, floor is slippery and cigarette butts all over. Small change to make it more appealing."
