「Great location. Easy walk to train/bus. Cool medieval/castle property. Nicely furnished. Small but comfortable room. Ensuite bathroom very nice and all immaculately clean. Host/owner is very friendly. I ordered the light breakfast which was excellent in a beautiful dining room. There is also a very pretty back courtyard. I was able to store luggage for the day.」

「Really loved the spa and the property. Food was good. Only thing is the lake on the property was full of trash, probably not the hotels fault but if it's their property it is something to be addressed since there was water life living in the habitat. 」

「Nice little town. Great staff always helpful. Dinner was fantastic in their restaurant. Stayed in the 3rd floor, no lift. We pre packed clothes in a backpack to help save carrying a heavy suitcase up the stairs. 」

「Limited parking space, staff is helpful and friendly, I can see lots of dog owners check in every time passing the reception. Limited resources provided inside the room which is understandable for this price range.」

「The photos don't do the hotel justice. It's really beautiful. It's not a new hotel, but it's well-maintained and spotless. I'm from the Caribbean, and I'm used to having air conditioning or fans. They didn't have air conditioning, but they gave me a fan because I couldn't sleep. That impressed me. I went with my baby, and they had a crib for her in the room. I'm very happy, and I highly recommend it. It's in a great spot for public transportation.」

「They told us up front there was no A/C, but we figured, 70 and raining would be fine. Well was 79 and sunny, and with only one tiny window that only opened 2 inches, the place was like sweatbox. The upside, is that the staff were wonderful! The restaurant next door has a great pub, and excellent fish and chips!」
