"I stayed here on my own after going to the theatre. I was expecting a small budget hotel, so was fine with the size of the room and no window. The first room I had was right beside the entrance on the first floor. I asked if I could be moved as I knew I would hear everyone coming and going through the night. Staff were very accommodating abs moved me to a room a floor up and furthest from the entrance. However this room wasn’t as clean as the last room. Bedding was marked and toilet wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been. Again, "

"Absolutely beautiful, clean and smelt beautiful..staff was so nice and helpful Our only complaint was the fire alarm going off while we were in bed and being outside in the cold"

"My room was mostly clean, minus the marks on the picture canvas above the headboard, the only other problems was a rip in the carpet below the tv where the carpet meets the wall and there was a line down one side of the tv screen when the tv was on which is a distraction if wanting to watch anything on it and breakfast is just basic "continental" things with the only warm thing edible was probably the boiled eggs"

"The room was in need of a full refurbishment. There were cobwebs on the windows, mirror smeary, paintwork chipped and scuffed also the furniture the same. The bed was linked and uncomfortable, the pillows were hard. Clearly hadn't been cleaned from previous occupants as an apple was under a chair. The bathroom was stained, tiles cracked and the grout grimy. On a positive note, the breakfast was tasty but could have been hotter."
