"A great place to stay very close to the airport. However the quality of your stay will depend on how quiet other guests are and whether they come and go to the airport during the night. Our host was excellent in meeting us as we arrived just after midnight and explained everything to us. "

"The property is well positioned amongst great shops and restaurants, with the train station and the leaning tower both within walking distance. The bedrooms are spacious and well appointed, with cupboard space, safe, a bar fridge and dressing table, with kettle for tea and coffee. "Amazing place to stay and visit Lucca walled city . The rooms are spacious beautiful decorated, comfy beds nice and cosy for when we got back from walking around the city. Breakfast was amazing, with loads to eat all fresh all great quality. Most of all the lovely people working there make you feel so welcome and we can thanks enough for all they did for us! "Al Porto Di Lucca is a lovely old property that has been tasefully renovated and decorated to combine modern facilities (such as the bathrooms) with the original features and furniture in keeping with the age and style of the house. We stayed in the room Maria Teresa facing the lovely quiet garden with a balcony and wished our weather during our stay had allowed us to make more use of that feature. "Lovely property that we stayed for one night. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The swimming pool was superb and helped us cool down and relax after a long day travelling. Breakfast was really good the next morning and served with some locally produced goods. Great place to stay. Exactly as advertised. "

"10min walk to the nearest train station to get to other areas of italy such as florence and cinque terre. 15min walk to the tower of Pisa. Clean chalet, friendly & helpful staff, shop/cafe/restaurant on site. Kitchen area equipped with basics for cooking, there is no kettle,toaster, oven or microwave - just a 4 ringed gas hob which i feel could be improved more. Lots of mosquitos so ensure you pack repellant. Towels to hire. Good quality supermarket 10min walk away. I would definitely stay here...
