"The place looks brand new. Clean and modern. Staff was very helpful (especially the woman in the breakfast room). Bed was comfy. Rooms are a bit sterile and could use better lighting but otherwise well equipped. Breakfast was the best we have ever had in a mid hotel …try the cool pancake machine! Easy access from Rte 81. Our only issues were soundproofing (thin walls?) and a fire alarm at 130am"

"Unsupervised children and teens were running the length of the 4th floor, screaming and shrieking after 10 pm. I had asked them once before to stop this behavior as we were travelers needing rest. I now got dressed and went to the front desk, passing a group of people drinking beer in the hall way, when I arrived Angelique waited on me, I explained the nature of the disturbance. She said I was disrespecting her because she was busy training a new person on the front desk. I went back to bed, the ruckus died down around 12 midnight except for slamming doors and talking in the hall. The following morning the #2 elevator and the 4th floor hallway smelled of weed. I asked a staff member about the decline in the hotel since my stay last year, she referred to the "transients and druggies" who frequent the hotel currently. Book this stay at your own risk. I'm done with the Country Inn and Suites by Raddison in Hagerstown MD."

"We did not have a coffee maker which was very inconvenient as we were just staying over on our way home from vacation getting up early to leave. Coffee would have been nice. No one at front desk to purchase a coffee from either. However for the price there should be a coffee maker and coffee in the room "

"Everything seemed fine until the bathroom clogged up and since the maintenance guys were gone we as the guest had to fix the issue. I suggest having 2 maintenance guys at night for “just in case”. "

"Great location off of I-81. Safe, clean tons of restaurants near by…something for everybody. Breakfast was hot and there were lots of bread, bagels, English Muffins and Pastries to go along with a good selection of cold cereals, waffles, toppings, juice, coffee, etc. I want to make a particular comment about the scrambled eggs…which are usually pretty bad at any hotel…the eggs here were soft, fluffy, buttery and were some of the best I’ve had."

"Where do I start? First in the lobby the person (who ended up being the manager) informed us that we would have to upgrade to a suite because we had five people. We had booked our hotel through hotels.com for 3 adults and 2 children (10 and 17). Our reservation said two queen beds and free rollaway bed. He insisted that a bed wouldn’t fit and would be extra money. We showed our confirmation and they finally gave us a cot. We had to ask for sheets and blanket for the cot. We had to ask for enough towels, only one roll of toilet paper. No air/heat was turned on in the room AND our door was found open (safety bar blocked from closing) when we initially came to our room. The pool lights were off two hours before closing. When we went to call the staff from the pool area, it was discovered that the phone was not working which is a safety issue should there ever be an emergency. Nobody’s key cards ever worked for the pool entrance (we had to open the door for several guests one we were let in by the staff). Only one ice machine in the entire building. Hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. The microwave in the room was not on…it was plugged into an extension cord inside the kitchen cabinet that needed to have the switch turned on. NEVER should you use extension cords for appliances! The breakfast was never fully stocked and was pitiful at that! We were there for three days! There is more, but on ONE positive note…it was quiet especially considering it was located "
