「When I booked this hotel, it was not called Motel 6. It was listed under a different name. However, when we got there, sure enough, it was Motel 6. The room we were given had a dirty floor, the bedspread had cigarette burn holes, and the room had a bad odor. I went to the person at the desk, explained what the room was like, and asked for a different room. He was very nice and provided us with a new room. 「Allenberry brought the cozy, local, family style living to this resort. We enjoyed everything, esp. the fly fishing. What a find. Activities are in abundance and sometimes unique, like the Playhouse. We missed the spa but liked the sauna, hot tub, pickleball, fire pits, dining, and more. This was a fishing weekend, but next time, we will be sure to watch the availablity of special activities and plan our trip accordingly. Very relaxing spot with easy to talk to staff. We loved it. 」

「We had a great stay. However, the day we were checking in, we did get there early and the front desk was not even available for a good five minutes, and there was no way to contact them when we asked if there was any room to check into she laughed and said they won’t be ready until after three. We were fine with that, but her attitude was horrible. Every other day was great.」

「This was the BEST Best Western. Not even close to the second best Best Western. This was the bestest of all. Should I mention how high the ceilings were? Or perhaps the floors were lower… beds so comfy I didn’t even know I slept! And the breakfast? Why, it wouldn’t be anything other than the best at the BEST Best Western! All kidding aside, most flawless check-in, very clean, and nothing but a 10/10. (We still call it the Best Best Western.)」
