"We travel for work and booked this hotel for a five-week contract. Our schedule was four days at the hotel, then home for three days, returning again for four days each week.
Overall, the hotel was clean and most of the staff were attentive and greeted guests right away. However, during week three I was assigned a room on the third floor. The first night was fine. On the second night, I requested two additional pillows and went to bed. The following day, I noticed a red, itchy mark on my arm but didn’t think much of it at the time.
On the third night, which was also checkout day, I was lying in bed when I saw a bug on my pillow. I quickly killed it and then noticed several smaller ones nearby. I immediately gathered my belongings, took photos, and went downstairs to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, a manager was not available that early, so I reported the situation to the front desk. The staff member informed me that this was not a new issue with not only in that room, but on that entire floor. I checked out and left.
Since our stay had been prepaid, my husband returned the following week. He also asked to speak with a manager but was told the manager was unavailable and that they were already aware of the concerns from the previous week. He specifically requested not to be placed on the third floor, they assigned him a room on the fourth floor instead.
Its been a week, no follow up from management."
