"Absolutely amazing from start to finish. The hotel was beautiful and our room was lovely. Every member of staff were super friendly and attentive. We would definitely stay here again for Guernsey. The only downside was lack of car parking. Sic spaces which are first come first serve basis but we luckily didn't have any trouble."

"Lovely comfortable beds and amazing staff, they couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. Hotel pool was advertised as heated but was freezing! We braved it anyway as there was a heatwave and it was lovely. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh and plenty of choice. Only slight snag was a family with 2 dogs staying on our last night, and the dogs barked a lot at night."

"Hotel has a large breakfast menu. It’s possible to have a lunch and dinner as well. Meals are delicious and they’ve a large drinks list too. If you want to explore local gins, cider etc. Staff are always very helpful and supportive. Customer service is excellent and they want to ensure that meals, drinks etc are to your requirements. We enjoyed a spa as well. It was refreshing to go swimming and spent time in a Jacuzzi after sightseeing all day. I’d recommend the spa especially if you walk a lot because it seems to help with tired feet. We also spent time in a large hotel garden. It’s a nice and quiet spot to relax. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed the heatwave. Hotel is not far from bars and restaurants and buzzing Guernsey atmosphere. It’s also possible to book a taxi if not keen to walk or take a bus. Reception does book a taxi if requested. I’d recommend this hotel because it has a lot to offer. Room is a good size and we also spent time in a balcony."

"Normally the best price for a room is by phoning and booking direct with the hotel, not in this case, it was considerably cheaper to book online? Most staff seem happy and helpful except the chap we got the pool towels from, maybe because it was a hot sunny day and he was stuck inside a gloomy room at his desk Outdoor pool Ok but indoor needs refurbishing looks like black mould all around the grouting on the spa pools not nice to see Food in restaurant and at breakfast very good, but again the vertical blinds next to our table at breakfast were filthy looked like food stains Room ok but no Air-Con just an old fan that was stuck on low speed only, could get quite hot in the summer Remember this hotel is on the airport flight path so expect to get woken sub 7am to the sound of the turboprop aircraft taking off at full power On leaving not asked if we had enjoyed our stay On positive note the king prawns and the local scallops were excellent"

"We stayed 3 nights but wish it could have been longer. Lovely location (our room had a sea view) and you could walk down to the little beach but quite a steep climb coming back ! We did take friends down to the beach for lunch one day but without any notice the cafe was closed so that was a bit disappointing. The pool in the hotel was also closed but they did offer use of the pool at their sister hotel ( but decided it was too much bother) Breakfasts were amazing. All the staff (except one) were super efficient and friendly giving us great advise and service. One member of staff deserves a particular mention and that is Catia on reception . She was incredible and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely stay her again ❤️"

"The hotel was old but had lots of character, (apparently Victor Hugo kept a mistress here, handy to his home next but one) Our room was kept clean and everything worked as it should. The breakfasts were hearty and tasty . The hotel's best feature was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The location was good as well; we used it as a base for walking completely around Guernsey. It was handy for the bus terminus to get around and handy to the harbour to visit Herm and Sark."
