I had been to the hotel before - although some parts to the hotel were improved - new style reception and bar, the rooms are quite “tired” and need updating- also our air con didn’t work well Otherwise room was comfortable enough and venue is ideally placed near to the harbour

The hotel is in a really good place, really close to the town centre, shops, places to eat and buses. The staff at the hotel are all lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely huge bed!

The hotel was in the centre of town, a short walk from a bus stop. There was a bus from here that went direct to the airport. My room was spacious, clean and quiet. I took advantage of the complimentary breakfast which was very nice. The service was very good. There wasn't many places to go for an evening meal but that Guernsey for you. I would be very happy to stay again.

Although it’s in an excellent location, I do find the hotel a little old fashioned. As with last time, the Saturday evening staff were excellent and went out of their way to try and find me a taxi. However the Sunday morning reception staff, a make, seemed distinctly disinterested in helping me and didn’t seem to like me interrupting his TV show. The Moore’s lets itself down on details, such as some really poor repair work on the wall near my room which looked like a DIY job done by someone even less skilful than myself. Overall I would say the visit was OK.
