Pool been shut for 2 years and Heath Spa now shut as well. Breakfast was really quite good. Location suited us as was a short walk to event we were attending nearby.」

「A beautiful hotel in the most peaceful valley. The staff were wonderful and the breakfasts delicious. Loved every minute of my stay. 」

「Be aware that although the hotel is walking distance to the bus terminal, it is on a hill, so you need to be reasonably fit if walking up and down. The hotel is close to the harbour and castle. The island bus service is very good for getting around the island and sight seeing. Staff are very helpful and friendly.」

「Couldn't fault the hotel or staff. Whatever you asked for, it was no trouble at all. Our room was fine with a balcony that overlooked the harbour. Plenty to eat at breakfast. You can start with continental and then have a cooked meal if you want. The only drawback for us was the number of steps and sloping paths/ roads you need to negotiate to reach the hotel. That said, we would recommend this hotel.」

「Daily room service - beds, cleaning, etc. was excellent - congratulations and thanks to our designated member of staff (room 430) All service within the hotel was very prompt and efficient. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of dishes. One improvement - additional complementary bathroom items would have been useful, especially a shower cap. 「Beautiful property, well furnished rooms with friendly & helpful staff. While I would fully recommend the property, it was disappointing to turn up and find no availability at the spa despite staying three nights/four days. Also, the hotel added on a service charge of £10/day on checkout despite having already paid a 12.5% service charge in the restaurants & bars (which made up 100% of our bill given we had pre-paid).
