I stayed in Springfield for one reason and one reason only: to have a horseshoe at D'Arcy's Pint. I was glad I did because there is so much history in Springfield that I hadn't even considered. It's a really cool town.

We went to the Lincoln Presidential Museum. Very nice! Well worth the 2.5-3 hours. Informative and plenty to see and do. Loved it. Nice downtown by the way. If we had more time, we would have explored more.

Lots of history and excellent places to visit . Hated the one way streets and there was construction going on everywhere. Overall it was a nice town though.
