「Had a 2 o'clock reservation which coming from PA was perfect except when I got there was told under no circumstances do they have a 2 o'clock check in so had to wait an extra 2 hours to check in only to find out they let a family member check 3 rooms for early check in at 2 . Not cool . It was the same staff member handling these reservations.」

「Nice quiet motel very near the interstate. Easy to find, and everyone was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and had a bathtub instead of only a shower!」

「Royal oaks was a great little town and this motel was a new experience for me. The lounges and outdoor areas we wonderful and the staff was helpful. It was hard for me to get the old motel feel out of it but they really did a good job. I wish they would put a table and lamp on both sides of the bed and have more choices at breakfast.」

「Let's just say you get what you pay for. The room was $87 for 2 nights. Centraly located to venues near Detroit. No other amenities. It smelled of stale cigarette smoke. I had to purchase my own towels as I wasn't going to use the ones provided on my body. I cleaned the air-conditioner filter and bought clorox wipes to clean the room. I did see a mouse scurry towards a corner. We stayed because there wasn't any chance for a refund and there were no signs of any bugs.」
