"The shuttle service (Valet Connection) was terrible. This shuttle is operated by an off‑site parking company that also services several nearby hotels, and it was clear their priority was their own parking customers—not hotel guests. At the airport, hotel guests were only allowed on if there were seats left after parking customers boarded. I barely made it onto the shuttle as the last seat, but I heard of others who were left behind and had to wait 30 minutes or more for the next shuttle. The hotel pickup was just as bad. The shuttle did not arrive on time, and the driver initially only wanted to pick up passengers flying on a specific airline. His dispatcher had to tell him to take all of us. He threw the luggage into the shuttle without stacking or securing it (I have photos). He then nearly left my bag at the wrong terminal—Detroit airport is very spread out. Thankfully, I intentionally sat in the back so I could keep an eye on my luggage. Truly awful service. I would avoid this hotel entirely due to how poor the shuttle experience was. "

"Overall I was disappointed. Bed was rock hard. No microwave in room. The room was outdated and definitely needs an overhaul. Definitely was not worth 160$. I won't be staying here again."

"Breakfast was bare minimum (toast, cereal, oatmeal, coffee), bed was stiff with one thin blanket, hair dryer was rusty and didn't work, and the shower wall had big chunks peeled back/off. Plus we found out at check in that their parking was full so we'd have to pay more and park next door for our flight the next day so call and confirm they have space for you to park off you need it. The lady at check out said it's been that busy for 6 months. Staff was nice but overall you get what you pay for, don't recommend. I've been pleasantly surprised by other cheap hotels but not this one."
