Nice Inn, nice people, really good food! Rooms are just that, a room but nicely done with new fixtures. It’s a converted old home. 3 levels, no elevator. If I’m ever in the area again, I would stay here.

Our first impression of the outside was that the website made it look much better than the reality. The room however was lovely. We never got maid service. Didn't empty waste baskets, replace towels almost ran out of toilet paper. Water pressure in shower was non-existent. We checked in Saturday. Restaurant downstairs very busy. The noise level in our room was awful and lasted until after midnight! Sunday there was no staff at the inn at all. Overall very disappointed

It was very spacious, clean. The food was great! The only part that was difficult was the WIFI. We were unable to connect to any apps, and the tv stream voice box was bad, we had to read what it was saying :/. All in all a very nice place to stay:)

Quick review

It's a bit strange to not have front desk staff available at all, not even during daytime hours. In such a remote place, it felt a little anxiety-provoking to be in a place where I didn't feel anyone would notice if anything bad happened. Nonetheless, the place is lovely; the room was very clean and cozy; and the codes for the front door and my room worked without any issue.

The inn was pretty and the room (Garden Room) was recently renovated. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. My main complaints are the listing said breakfast was included, and once we arrived we found out there is NO STAFF on Sundays. There was no note or info about any breakfast or "to go" meals, so we got breakfast out. I've never stayed in an Inn with no information in the room about amenities...coffee, snacks, breakfast, etc. I was also disappointed to find out that our room was on the THIRD floor, up two very long flights of stairs. I managed, but it would be hard for some people to have to do that. Lastly, when I woke up this morning I realized there were stains on the underside of the comforter that I didn't notice last night. That made me uneasy and was kind of gross. Overall, it was better than a Holiday Inn or moderately priced hotel but I thought $250 was a lot to pay without getting breakfast or having staff around to answer questions. We like to stay in Inns and B&Bs because of the personal touches and hospitality of the innkeepers, and this place had neither of those.

Spent a birthday here… trundled upstairs to our very clean and comfy bedroom after being absolutely lavished with delicious food and drinks. Think we might just make an annual tradition out of it! Thank you Hidden Inn!

A Most Lovely Experience

We stayed at the Hidden Inn in pursuance of our trip to Hobart for the book village and for my birthday on Friday. During our short stay, we felt we had an amazing experience feeling the warmth and hospitality of both Kurt and Lisa. Our room was very comfy and warm. We had a lovely experience at their restaurant Friday night; both Kurt and Lisa embraced us all during my birthday meal. The food was also delicious.

Comfortable, easy one-night stay.

We loved our room. It was very comfortable. The bed was great. Nice TV with a bunch of viewing options. Breakfast was simple but good enough. We had one point on which we needed assistance, and the owner showed up quite quickly and fixed it. We will return sometime when the dining room is open because it looks nice.
