I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The hostess was warm and friendly and very accommodating, breakfast was fantastic. I stayed in the green room, and although had a "shared bathroom", I had it all to myself and felt very comfortable. I enjoyed hanging out in Woodstock - checking out the Kaaterskill waterfall and Platte Clove waterfall, shopping around town, having a beer with the locals. I had dinner right across the street at Alba's Kitchen - convenient and tasty. Great stay! Highly recommend this B&B.

I booked a specific room with a private bath. When I checked in, the owner told me she gave away my room and gave me a room with a shared hallway bath. After a lot of arguing, she said expedia (hotels.com), should have charged me more for a private bath room. She refused to give it to me for the rate I was paying. Also, property needs a lot of work…it is very dusty with old bedding and missing shades on the windows.

Gorgeous Morning Glory!

Diane, the hostess, was extremely attentive and aimed to please us. Attention to detail was excellent in making the room and house attractive. Morning Glory is wonderfully central to amenities as well as the unmissable sites of beauty. Highly recommended for an informal and relaxed stay.

Charming B and B in fun and quirky Woodstock

The bed-and-breakfast was very charming. Booked the room and arrived soon after at 9 PM. I think the owners were a little uncertain about the late booking. Breakfast was supposed to be included, but wasn’t mentioned we checked out around 10 AM but didn’t see the owners after we checked in. It could’ve been our lack of understanding of how it was supposed to work.
I don’t think to take a pic until after I stripped the bed. Sweet floral quilt.

Morning Glory B&B provided everything I needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay. While it isn’t a luxurious property, it covers all the basics well—clean, functional, and welcoming. The location is convenient, a 10 minute walk to the Village Green, with easy access to shopping, dining, and the center of Woodstock’s activity. A solid choice if you’re looking for simplicity, comfort, and proximity rather than frills.

Morning Glory is a Delightful Experience

Quaint, cozy and creative space. The artwork around the house is lovely. The backyard was peaceful. Perfect for my morning stretch routine. Very enjoyable!

The host was very friendly, kind and helpful. She went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. My dietary needs for breakfast were provided. My room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I slept well and I especially enjoyed the art which decorated the house.

My stay at Morning Glory exceeded expectations in every regard. I had come from a week long workshop and needed a place quiet and comfortable to integrate the experience and recharge.
