1) A maintenance person had to let us OUT of our room. The door would not open from inside. He did come to our aid as soon as I called the front desk, but it as been that way all night- a serious safety hazard. 2) Breakfast was supposed to be open at 7. It was still being set up at 7:20. 3) Our room was clean and warm, which was why they still got a 3.

Staff at front desk was friendly. Housekeeping was poor. Hallways were dirty, never vacuumed while we were there. Bed was not made during the one housekeeping visit. Food on counter was tossed when there should have been no confusion it was to stay. No soap in shower.

My husband and I had wonderful, relaxing four-night stay. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Bed, WiFi, and shower pressure were all great. But what stood out the most about this Homewood Suites was the breakfast with multiple options and the hard-working kitchen staff employee, Chris. In my 66 years, it’s the first time I have asked an employee their name — he was that impressive. Kudos to team player Chris and his admirable work ethic AND well done, Homewood Suites!
