「Management was on top of their game with any questions we had, the cabin was super clean, new, and full of the Best amenities!! We loved having a washer and dryer, full kitchen, living room and 2 full bathrooms! We traveled as a group of 4 & It was perfect for us! It’s obvious they are investing a lot of time and money to make it a beautiful place to stay. The sunset views were incredible, and you could take a walk along the river watching the fish swim in front of you. Highly recommend!!」

「The location of the Bear Necessities cottages is rural and quiet, yet close to town. Our cottage, though small, was clean and comfortable with a good shower. There is no air-conditioning, which is typical in Alaska. Heat was provided by a diesel heater. This was a little unusual, but we got used to it and it worked fine. No complaints. Would easily stay here again.」

I may have misunderstood when booking,but they made it seem like it was a part of the cabin.( the entire reason I spent $400 for one night) it was hard lugging my luggage to the cabin do to the railroad tie stairs being so far apart.
