A highly unusual place. Gorgeous setting at the end of a bumpy dirt road that places you amidst gorgeous tropical plants and flowers, several retreat-style spaces, and rooms that are understatedly beautiful and totally comfortable. Spotlessly clean pool. Homemade and personalized breakfasts and dinners made by a local resident of the nearby town, with an owner who is passionate about assuring guests are happy and about offering a gracious space for guests to kick back and, well, just be...

El lugar está muy cerca del ferry. Habitaciones muy limpias y parecieran recientemente renovadas

Brayan was awesome.

Everyone from the moment we checked in was truly wonderful. We stayed for two nights. The rooms are beautiful, we had the Mangle suite with second floor hot tub/Jacuzzi. While the building is located near the rear of the property it provided a stunning 360 degree view of both the ocean and mangrove area. Prices were beyond reasonable. We had two dinners including drinks a massage and a lunch, all included tip and it came in well under what we expected to pay. The food was excellent and the...

Beautiful, clean, great staff!!! We had a great time there. The food was amazing!

Our trip in Holbox was on Nov 2024. We booked one of the treehouse cottage. Pros: First— staff are amazing, super helpful, and very welcoming. 2nd—the resort is top notch. Quiet. It gives that “jungle” type vibe. If you are all about connecting with nature, this is the perfect place to be. 3rd—the way the resort was located, it’s still walkable to their downtown area. Con: November- so many mosquitoes. I didn’t get to enjoy the lounge over the roof because I became the buffet. BRING bug...

Lovely boutique hotel to escape from it all. We enjoyed our first trip to Holbox. I do wish the hotel offered a happy hour or had a small hotel bar for guests. Alberto is a wonderful host and ensures your stay is perfect.

The property is great located - 15 minutes walk from the town and away of noise and busy streets. I had some issues with my room door but the staff took care of it immediately. Once in Holbox, I was looking around for another hotel for my future visits but I think this is a great option for me. I am planning to take my husband back very soon. Service is great, beach is right there, vendors offering you mangoes, empanadas, and souvenirs. Ahh yes, the dogs at the beach, totally unleashed! The...

Amazing hotel with one of the most beautiful views in Isla Holbox. The rooftop pool and hammocks were literally The cherry on top.

The hotel is fairly new and is well kept. The staff were all very helpful in getting taxis, reservations and just bringing fresh towels to the room.

Loved our stay at Aurora. Would stay here again in the future. The receptionist was so pleasant. It was very close to everything.

Villas Caracol is a hidden gem that offered us the tranquility and beauty we were seeking. The beachfront is stunning and the location is perfect for couples and families wanting to relax away from the island's noise. The property is lush, with beautifully decorated rooms that feel private, resembling treehouses. To my delight, the staff surprised me with a birthday celebration, complete with cake, champagne, and balloons in my room. The exceptional service continued with delicious drinks from...

The best location! Very nice amenities and beautiful beach. As for the noise complaints you read elsewhere, just download the "whitenoise" app on your phone and you wont hear a thing.

The property was well maintained and the pool area was very unique and enjoyable to swim in. The location was very close to the central market and restaurants, however the street in front didn’t cal down in noise till later in the evening and then all was calm and quiet. The breakfast was presented as though it was from a Waldorf’s chef.

Naj Casa is close to the action of the El Centro but far enough to enjoy peaceful rest from the beach music scene. About a 4 to 5min walk gets you to the center and another 2 to 3min beyond the center is the beach. Outside of the hotel can be a little tricky navigating puddles and I can understand the rainy seasons could get frustrating. This is not Naj Casa's fault. You're visiting a sandbar NOT an island. Showing up with the expectation of paved roads will only hurt you. Taking Hernan Cortes...
