"This was a perfect spot to travel with our dogs! The rooms and the landscape were very clean and well kept. Beautiful views of the sunset on the bay. Beds were comfortable and the staff was great! The only things I would suggest are to make it clear that there are no pot, dishes, utensils etc in the kitchenette, so it was useless for us. Also, the pool could have been a little cleaner. But overall, it was a great stay and close to everything. We'll be back! "

"The Henlopen is right on the boardwalk. Within one minute you're on the beach and a quick ten minute boardwalk stroll to the center of town. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The view from our oceanfront balcony was as good as it could get. We watched the sun rise over the crashing waves almost every morning. As I see it, the only downside for this hotel might be that there's no pool. However, we didn't really miss it. For its location and cleanliness, we were very pleased with our stay at the Henlopen.
