「The property was very well maintained and equipped. Beautifully decorated and lovely enclosed outdoor area for our dog to play. The only downside was that the water flow was pretty inconsistent and it was very hot weather so a bigger fan would’ve been great as it gets very hot. Other than that, it was a lovely stay.」

「Harvey Lodge is a hiden gem in a woodlands next to a river beautiful setting peace full beats any Premier Inn owners are friendly and helpful and they care about their guests bed is very comfy you just don't to get out of it in a morning if you care about a digital detox and peace of mind this is a place it's very near Helston town and close to Porthleven and other seaside places just beautiful felt like I was at home and not a holiday or working away from home 」

「I've given this a five star review because although the rooms are fairly basic, the staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is good, and the location is brilliant. You're a 5 minute walk from the beach and there's a bus route right outside the hotel that can take you direct to Penzance, Marazion and St Ives (and I'm sure elsewhere, but that's all we managed). It's also incredibly good value for money. So don't expect the Ritz but for what you pay this is a really great place to stay.」

The room was in tip-top condition, clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Cleaning was done every day. The breakfast, both continental and English, were fantastic in terms of taste, quality, and plentiful. The hot breakfast was especially great. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy that as well. 「Very clean rooms and friendly hosts. It was quite cool in the evenings with heating only on in the mornings and there was no communal lounge area to sit in so we felt we were confined to our bedroom. 」

We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. 「The hosts were lovely. Clean, safe, comfortable, good common area includes fridge, glasses, plates & cutlery. Delicious breakfasts with a view of the colourful boat harbour. The pub in Mousehole (5 min walk) was good. Parking is a short distance away but make sure you have cell / text service to use the parking app in case the only machine in the lot isn't working as the next lot is 2 miles away! Would stay here again!!!」

「The property is tired. Some of the staff worked hard. Some were obviously inexperienced. But the big problem was there were not enough capable staff. Long waiting times for food. Ordering systems that failed. Simple things like getting your own coffee at breakfast did not work. Altogether a lack of energy and commitment to getting things right was missing. No obvious management. Fabulous views, great weather. Frustrating hotel. We stayed one night. Could not imagine staying longer. What a lost...
