"Great central location. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the property. Rooms are of a very good size and housekeeping was very efficient. Breakfast was good, although it could have been more varied and extensive.
We kept Dwayne busy at the Tuxedo bar during Happy Hour and Moh Moh by the poolside did her best to keep guests watered. We enjoyed our stay at the Carlton and would not hesitate to book again!"
"Lovely large room, with a great view of the bay.
Breakfast is busy, but they very quickly offer the sister hotel restaurant as an alternative. It is a short 2 min walk away.
Both breakfasts are similar and have a huge variety of choices.
The adult pool was closed for renovation whilst we were here, but we still made use of the smaller pool.
The hotel is located in a great location. City Hall MRT is underneath as is Raffles shopping mall.
Would highly recommend. "
"Steam room unavailable. Gym equipment broken, Air con not working in the Gym. Staff interaction non existent so can't really comment. Overall was meh for the price paid"
"The hotel and its rooms are great, very brightly lit and clean rooms. The hotel has only one restaurant and a bar. Beware the restaurant requires reservations for dinner and should be made in advance or else risk not able to eat there. But don’t fret-just walk across the street and there are plenty of restaurants to try out. The only complaint that I have about this hotel are the lifts or lack thereof. The two that were operational were constantly crowded and several times we had to wait for over 10 minutes to get down. We talked to the other guests who were waiting with us and they had similar issues. So we were not the only ones impacted. Other than that we liked the hotel very much. "
"Superlative. This is a very high end hotel keeping true to the old post office building which it used to be. Everything was just special from the moment we arrived outside to sorting out our airport taxi on our last day. It felt a bit like stepping into old worl charm and luxury and everything was top notch. "
"Staff are friendly and proactively offering to assist while they greet you.
There were only bath tub and fixed shower head (without any handheld ones).
The rooms have high ceiling, which makes you feel spacious.
TV channels were very limited, couldn’t find CNN, BBC, etc.
The buffet breakfast restaurant was also spacious, choices of food were quite basic."
