It’s a great location. The room was very good. Some of the staff not so friendly at the front door. They should have told us when we checked in about the fantastic gardens and the pool. We discovered them by chance on the last day so never got to use them.

The rooms are spacious and clean with new renovation. However, the reception area was a mess. There were no signs or line for queuing. We did not know which is the check in nor concierge counters. No one was assisting. This happens in both check in and check out days. Just ridiculous that it is a 5 star hotel with such poor front desk experience.

Loved the newly renovated Grand Hyatt on Orchard Road - the place exudes modern sensibilities with a Japanese touch. Attention to detail on little comforts like spring loaded sliding doors and automated bidet made the stay truly enjoyable. The spa and outdoor pool area were very done.
