"A lovely stay in an historic hotel."

"One coffee machine not working so long queue to get drinks. Extra cost for real porridge! "

"I only stayed one night . The staff were very helpful & polite . The rooms were very comfortable and everything you needed in them , iron , ironing board & hairdryer. The Resteruant the food was lovely very tasty , and the breakfast had a large selection . We did park right outside the entrance of the hotel in the car park - it did cost a separate price to the room which was £14 for parking."

"This was our 5th stay at Staverton. Overall we had another lovely stay however a couple of issues with lots of dust in our room, inexperienced staff in restaurant (given meal but ages for cutlery, child had an ice cream extra with 2 course meal and tried to charge £8 almost the same price as kids 3 course meal!!, breakfast buffet sparse and slow to refill having to wait with half a plate of breakfast for rest to be refilled). We will still return and hope these small bits can be tightened up then it will be perfect! "

"Lovely clean room. The only criticism is the bathroom. It was lovely & clean but not very practical for someone who doesn't want a bath or sit down shower. Also the tempered glass doors were not practical. I dont think even your partner wants to see what you are doing in the bathroom! No privacy. The staff were excellent. "

"If you like decent coffee included in breakfast dont take this option. Breakfast was edible but that was jt and the beds were so soft and uncomfortable, the air con doesn't work properly either "
